Flyleaf is an American hard rock band, formed in the Belton[1] and Temple, Texas[2] regions in 2000. The band has charted on mainstream rock, Christian pop and Christian metal genres. They performed around the United States in 2003 until releasing their eponymous debut album, Flyleaf, in 2005. The album went platinum after selling more than one million copies.[5] The band won an online poll on yahoo.com and was named Yahoo!'s Who's Next band of the month in March 2006 and they were named MTV's artist of the week on December 24, 2007.[6][7] Flyleaf released their second album Memento Mori on November 10, 2009 which debuted and peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard charts.

"I'm So Sick" is a song by American band Flyleaf. It was released on August 29, 2006 as the first single of their debut album, Flyleaf (2005). It is their second song to have an accompanying music video and it has been shown on many mainstream television networks. On March 3, 2008, "I'm So Sick" was released in the UK and was played on Scuzz, Kerrang! and MTV2.

The introduction is played with a distorted bass guitar. Flyleaf vocalist Lacey Mosley once commented that she was surprised at how much her voice "downshifted" during the introductions.

The demo version or the first version of the song was featured on their Flyleaf (EP). The version is longer and has more lyrics. The radio edit does not feature any screaming.

In a TVU spot, lead singer Lacey Mosley said that this song is "About how the world can sometimes be a sick and messed up place and how that influences us and tells us how we should live or who we should be. People do things just 'cause everyone else does and then they wonder why they feel empty all the time. Someone who has a firm stance in what they know to be true will empower empty followers to discover who they are as individuals with purposes and this creates leaders with voices of their own."
Mosley before an acoustic performance of the song: "It's about how sometimes the world can be a sick and messed up place and even though we grow up in those kinds of situations it doesn't mean that when we can make decisions for ourselves that we have to stay in that situation. That we recognize what's sick and messed up around us and then change things so that we can break the cycle and it doesn't have to continue."

Stone Sour is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Stone Sour. It was recorded and produced by the band and Tom Tatman at Catamount Studios in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and was released on August 27, 2002, through Roadrunner Records. Writing for the album began in 2000 while vocalist Corey Taylor and guitarist Jim Root were still actively involved in their other band, Slipknot. Work began on the album after Slipknot had gone on hiatus following touring in support of their second album Iowa.

"Bother" is the second single from the alternative metal band Stone Sour's first album Stone Sour. It was originally released as a solo song by frontman Corey Taylor, but the billing was later changed to Stone Sour. The song was one of Stone Sour's first songs to put them into the mainstream. The cover features Taylor's hands and rings, one of them being a Spider-Man ring which is a reference to the song being featured on the soundtrack to the film Spider-Man (although the track is credited to Taylor as the performer not Stone Sour) and to Taylor being a fan of Spider-Man.[1] The other has the number 8 on it, representing Taylor's number in Slipknot. Taylor has stated that the song is about when he moved back to Des Moines from Denver, where he hoped to try to move forward with his music.

According to lead singer Corey Taylor, this song is about "losing yourself and finding yourself all in one breath." It was written in a car on the way back home to the state of Iowa

Music video: The music video shows Taylor standing face-to-face with an exact copy of himself in a large room. As the two sing, Taylor's copy begins to rapidly age, and eventually dies and turns to dust as the other band members surround the two Taylors. All that is left of the copy is his Spider-Man ring, which the other Taylor puts on his own finger, encompassing his own Spider-Man ring.
